Spring brides have the choice of a whole host of beautiful in-season flowers for their wedding bouquets, most of which can be sourced locally and sustainably. Here are a few of our favourite spring flowers to inspire you:
Sweet Pea
Sweet peas are perfect for adding splashes of colour and texture to your bouquet.
Rose
Choose spring coloured roses like these pink and green ones to embrace the season whole-heartedly.
Peony
Big blooming peonies are softer than the rose but just as elegant, and look good in bouquets or as centre-pieces.
Lilac
This delicate flower is perfect for a sweet spring bouquet and looks lovely nestled among other spring blooms.
Hydrangea
The full-bodied hydrangea can be a bouquet all by itself, or add voluptuous volume to a larger bouquet.
Narcissi
Daffodils are one of the first signs of spring and look gorgeous in an early season wedding bouquet.
Blossom branch
Bring spring indoors with a blossom branch in your bouquet. Blossom also makes a gorgeous table decoration.
Hellebore
Hellebore can add a refreshing hint of spring green to your bouquet.
Tulip
Tulips are great for adding multiple colours within one bloom, and can be rustic or modern, depending on how you dress the bouquet.
