Tell us a bit more about yourself – your career background and how long you have been part of the Leigh Court team?
I started working at Leigh Court nearly four years ago. This was my first
“proper” job after taking time off to raise my three children. Previous to that I worked in hotels as a Reception Manager and Conference and Banqueting Manager. I started working in family owned hotels when I left school as a receptionist, so I’ve always worked with people and in hospitality.
What is your role within the Leigh Court team?
I work part time on the reception desk, answering phone calls, looking after the tenants who are also based here, dealing with incoming and outgoing post and welcoming visitors to Leigh Court.
What is your favourite part of your role?
I enjoy meeting new people every day – and talking to other colleagues, tenants and visitors alike. We hold a range of events at Leigh Court, so there is always something going on which I also enjoy.
If you could work in another role at Leigh Court, what would you like to do?
Due to my background, I think I’d like to work in the events office dealing with all the different types of events held at Leigh Court, including weddings, parties, corporate training, roadshows and so on. I like liaising with different people and organising things so I think it would suit me well.
If you could hold any event at Leigh Court, where money was no object, what would it be?
I’d love to hold a black tie event with free flowing champagne, cocktails, canapes and live music.
