Meet the “I Do” Crew
Each month we’re asking our ”I Do” Crew the questions on every recently engaged persons mind, from choosing a wedding photographer to writing a guest list, our trio of recent or soon-to-be newly-weds share their insights into planning a wedding. So far we’ve asked how they chose their wedding venue, when to send wedding invitations, and how to write a wedding guest list.
This month we’re asking the I Do Crew what kind of entertainment they booked for their weddings.
The recently married one: Married in August 2018, describes her wedding as ‘a perfect day better than I ever imagined.’
The groom: Married in July 2018, describes his wedding as ‘a chilled and fun day, with loads of our friends and family.’
The bride-to-be: Getting Married this month! describes her upcoming wedding as ‘the day I marry my best friend surrounded by the people we love the most.’
We ask the I Do Crew what kind of entertainment they booked for their wedding:
The recently married one
We had a wedding band and because it was a summer wedding and we were lucky with the weather, we also had lawn games to keep our guests entertained.
The groom
My friend was the DJ, we also made a killer playlist for when he wasn’t on.
The bride-to-be
We’re having a DJ and a surprise our guests don’t know about yet! As we have 8 small children at our wedding we plan to hold a treasure hunt for them in the 26 acre grounds. We will have a couple of nannies to look after them so the parents can enjoy themselves too!
The wedding coordinator
We love a good party here at Leigh Court, and we’ve seen it all from live bands, to circus troupes, to bumper cars on the lawns. I recommend at least having a DJ so you know your music is in safe hands. Your wedding venue will have suppliers they’ve worked with before if you need inspiration.
Next month, we ask the I Do Crew whether it’s important to book a wedding venue with accommodation.
